There are 5 main types of essays that you could be asked to write: 1) Opinion Essays 2) Discussion Essays 3) Problems Essays 4) Advantages & Disadvantages Essays 5) Double Question Essays Almost every question you could possibly get will fit into one of these categories. However, questions can be written in many different ways, which can make it difficult to determine which type they are.
