During my time in LA, I was fortunate enough to visit the home where they recorded that entire CD located on Mulholland Drive. The Producer Rick Ruben had one of Chad’s Drums Kits set up in a part of the house that was a Solarium ...basically a sun room all made out of glass and that is where Mr. Smith recorded the legendary drum track for “Give it Away.“ If you listen close you can here he is in a very live and reflective room. Great performance and drum sound.
