Neon Light Effect Photoshop Tutorial

In today’s Photoshop tutorial I’m going to show you how to create a vibrant visual effect by adding neon lights to a photo. This popular art style often incorporates simple shapes or text for the neon lights, which are illuminated in bright colours. I’ll explain how to use Photoshop to draw a custom shape and give it a vibrant glow with the help of Photoshop’s Layer Style options, then we’ll use a clever technique to apply a colourful ambience to the original photo as if it is being illuminated by the new light source. As a finishing touch, we’ll also add some smoke and particle effects to create a neat cyberpunk art piece with a futuristic vaporwave style. 📺 WATCH NEXT: How to Add a Neon Light Effect to Your Photos in Photoshop - 📦 Join my mailing list and get a FREE design resources bundle! 🙏 I don’t have a Patreon, but if you want to support my work, consider becoming an Access All Areas member on Spoon Graphics - ► Portrait photo by Harsh Kushwaha - ► Krist’s Smoke Brushes - ► Download my Free Grain Textures - ⭐️ Get up to 30% off The Neon Toolbox - Deals & Discounts: ⭐ Get 20% off ANYTHING in the Spoon Graphics Shop with the code: 20OFF - ⭐️ Get 10 FREE Images from Adobe Stock - ⭐ Get 20% off the Heritage Type Milkstore Font Collection - ⭐️ Download millions of creative assets from Envato - ⭐️ Get 36% off unlimited vector downloads from Vecteezy - Tools & Resources I Use: ⭐️ Get Photoshop and other Adobe CC programs here: 🛠️ Where I download the creative assets I need - ✍️ The graphics tablet I use: 🎙️ The microphone I use: 📢 The email newsletter service I use: 📈 The tool I use to help grow my channel: Watch more of my content: 📺 See all my Photoshop tutorials - 📺 See all my Illustrator tutorials - 📺 Watch my most popular videos - #Photoshop #PhotoshopTutorial #AdobePhotoshop Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator design tutorials from Chris Spooner of Spoon Graphics.
