Day in the Life of Gary Mayor of Strawberry Fields

Ayrton “Gary“ Ferreria dos Santos Jr. otherwise known as Gary, “The Mayor of Strawberry Fields“ dedicated his life to spreading Jon Lennon’s message of peace and love through his unique personal artwork on John Lennon’s Imagine memorial in Strawberry Fields, Central Park. Weeks before he passed away on November 24th 2013 Gary promised the world in a youtube video from his hospital room that he would join his friends in celebrating Jon Lennon’s life on December 8th 2013, the same day it was tragically taken from us. This short video entitled, “A Day in the Life of Gary Mayor of Strawberry Fields“ by Roni Jesselson and Shlomo Weprin is intended to bring Gary’s message of peace and love alive on the day he promised to do so. This video is part of an ongoing longer documentary that will hopefully do some type of justice to the man that dedicated his life to helping others and making the world a better place in John Lennon’s name.
