Perspective is kind of critical to the fundamentals of how we tell stories, and in no genre is it more important than mystery. So how come we haven’t spoken about it at length? How does Hyouka use perspective to empower its characters and themes? And why do I keep talking about birds? Side Note: The English Dub for this episode takes out a lot of the subtleties and nuance of Houtarou & Chitanda’s positions and their interactions which in my opinion which is a shame.
