Uses Vertex Texture Fetch and HLSL to calculate particle position and velocity. These clips have either , 4.2 or 5.5 million particles depending on the scene.
Been wanting to do this for a year or two and was inspired by the video “750000 Particles in XNA“ which you should go watch as well.
