An Israeli missile has hit Iran, US officials have told the BBC’s partner station CBS News. Iranian state media cited unconfirmed reports of explosions being heard around the central city of Isfahan, saying three drones were destroyed after the country’s air defence systems were activated. Iran has been on high alert after Israel said it would respond to the more than 300 Iranian missiles and drones fired at Israel on Saturday night.
