Crochet for beginners : Easy traditional granny square

While I was learning to crochet, I found it difficult to find a video which showed enough detail to learn from. I really hope this tutorial will help a few of you with getting to grips with crochet, the granny square is a brilliant starting point as it teaches the basic stitches and you can use it for lots of projects! I’ve shown 3 rounds here, but you can continue going around the square in the same way until you have a big enough square to call it a blanket, or you can make lots of squares and join them.
