FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON!!! Kaskaskia Dragon

On our way back from our family road trip to Pennsylvania, we stopped in Vandalia, IL to see the famous “Kaskasia Dragon.“ Originally built in 1995 by Kaskaskia Hardware for a parade float, the dragon has now been stationed just off I-70 and is open to guests. One can buy “dragon coins“ across the street at the hardware shop. The coins are used to make the dragon breathe fire for about 10 seconds each.
