BLUE TARA ~ SPIRITUAL REMEDIES
OM BHIM TARE VRIM SVAHĀ
“In ALL my lives, after death, migration, and rebirth,
May I acquire the perfectly accomplished powers of Enlightenment
The power of miraculous swiftness,
The power of the door to every spiritual path,
The power to manifest ALL virtuous qualities.
The power of ALL pervasive love,
The power of the merit of every virtue,
The power of wisdom which transcends ALL attachment and aversion,
Blue Tara is Divine Mother of ALL Buddhas. She is known for precision and intellectual exactness and is able to transmute anger. She embodies the wisdom of ALL accomplishing activity that transmutes and destroys ALL learning obstacles and blockages. She instills the quality of patience that helps to achieve wisdom and can be practiced in many different forms, not just in response to anger. This light of wisdom that awakens the mind of negatives/ignorance/darkness can be purified through the practice of patience, like a mother who patiently explains and provides conditions which will further a child’s learning.
She patiently transmits the quality of perseverance/endurance; enduring ALL challenges and obstacles so as to purify the Body, Heart, and Souls that are full of ignorance and obscurations. With endurance one is able to face negative karmic patterns which purge through emotions of anger and arise due to the aggressor/victim mentality and the interactions of attachment/aversion with the external selves in physical form. Blue Tara communicates with clarities NOT through the suppression of anger or through the expression of wrath. Eventually blockages and obstacles will be broken and one can connect to the soul level of consciousness manifesting the quality of reaching and achieving equanimity, no attachments and no aversions to challenging situations.
Recite mantra basic mantra for Her is:
OM BHIM TARE VRIM SVAHA OM bheem tah-reh vreem — with a healing gemstone mala such as Apophyllite, Aquamarine, Aventurine, Emerald, Jade, Malachite, Peridot.
OM = syllable of the vajra body (It is spelled A-U-M, which represent the body, speech and mind of the Buddhas.)
TARE = salvation from mundane dangers and suffering, which means both “Saving Mother” and “Star Mother.”
“BHIM” pierces and “VRIM” cuts through all obstructive and destructive energies.
SVAHA = according to Monier Monier-William’s Sanskrit Dictionary, means: “Hail!“, “Hail to!“ or “May a blessing rest on!“ We could see this final blessing as symbolizing the recognition that we are, ultimately, Tara.
