Throughout my career, I’ve tried that my work reflected who I am and where I come from. I’ve looked for rhythms, lyrics and sounds that were representative of that. Folk music and rock music are deeply interconnected. Native music, born from the original relation between people and their land, has a unique power. I sensed that as a kid, playing my first chords, and reconfirmed it later, during the recording of De Ushuaia A La Quiaca. I understood that academy is not the only place where to learn. Teaching is sharing what you know, and the best way to learn is being as close as possible to those who have the knowledge.
