TEARS - A “MAX PAYNE 3“/HEALTH Tribute

WARNING: Visual spoilers for the campaign of “Max Payne 3“ ranging from the beginning to the end of the game. The idea for this video came to me on one especially cold evening recently while I was on my way home by bike trudging through the snow and had the “Max Payne 3“ Soundtrack by HEALTH giving me enough energy to make it back in one piece. Coincidentally, “Max Payne 3“ is probably one of my all-time favourite shooters so this project became an even more interesting and self-explanatory endeavour to embark on. The video you see here took quite a bit of time and effort to make, so any feedback whatsoever down in the comments as well as likes, subscriptions, recommendations etc. are greatly appreciated, but most of all, I hope you just enjoy the video as is. The editing might be a little too erratic at times, some chapters of the game are occasionally cramped together so I could actually get the highlights of my footage and the song fitting together, and those probably aren’t the only issues, but this was a true passion project of mine, I’ve wanted to create something like this for a while, and I’m personally quite proud with how it turned out. This edit is obviously in no way supposed to be an alternative to playing the game, there are a number of story spoilers here and there, but the fact that I didn’t include any dialogue is one of the many reasons why your own personal playthrough will be worth the time if you haven’t played it so far and are interested in giving it a shot (no pun intended), I highly recommend it as well as the rest of the games in the trilogy. Stay far away from the movie adaptation, though, I’d really advise against that to put it in the most polite way possible. Once again, please enjoy the video!
