Alex Canion - The Making of Birthmark Part 1

Follow Perth musician and VOYAGER bassist Alex Canion on a 10 year musical journey that sees him record drums, acoustic and electric guitars, bass and vocals for his debut EP Birthmark. Part 1 of this documentary tells the story of “Dream a Dream“ and how writing this song in a small village in Scotland set into motion the recording of the other songs on this release. We follow Alex Canion and recording engineer Ben Court as they tackle drum tracking. Fast forward a year and it’s time to record the acoustic and electric guitars. They show off some beautiful and rare models as they track the guitars in one of Perth’s best guitar shops. Birthmark is out on all platforms on October 25 2021.
