Police in Romania carried out fresh raids on the home of Andrew Tate on Wednesday as he awaits trial on allegations of human trafficking, sex with a minor and forming a gang to sexually exploit women.
Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan 36, were arrested in December 2022 and kept in custody until March last year, when they were released under house arrest at their compound on the outskirts of Bucharest, the Romanian capital.
The Tate brothers, who are UK and US dual nationals, and two female alleged accomplices have been accused in Romania of forming a human trafficking group that also operated in other countries, including the UK and the US. Tate, a self-described misogynist, is due to face trial for alleged rape and human trafficking surrounding his online sex-cam business. The brothers deny all the allegations.
