Russian breakthrough south of Chasov Yar. A video was posted today showing Russia’s “Akhmat“ special forces raising flags above a complex of industrial buildings south of Chasov Yar. Looking at the wider area around Chasov Yar, one can see that Russian troops have deeply penetrated the Ukrainian defenses south of the city and have largely overcome the main watershed ridge. Another small advance beyond it will bring them close to Konstantinovka. Moreover, the Russian Army is already in a position to establish fire control over an important road leading to Chasov Yar from Konstantinovka. Overall, this breakthrough is very dangerous for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
