God exalted him3 Joshua 4:14 That day the Lord exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they stood in awe of him all the days of his life, just as they had stood in awe of Moses. As we see God dealing with the nation of Israel after the leadership of Moses was completed, it was important for God to show himself in the life of Joshua as he did in the life of Moses. Understand that God will confirm his election of a man or a woman to his leadership Joshua was not just pushing himself forward to be leader of the nation of Israel but through signs and wonders God showed Joshua and God showed the people that Joshua was his divine selection. may we today understand and respect God’s divine selection in matters it is not who men and women select as God’s selection process never hinged on the will of men but may we seek, respect, and honor, God’s Divine selection.
