Seven Barn Owl Chicks in the Nest

Watch this gorgeous footage of the seven barn owl chicks inside their nest. This clutch of owlets includes some rescued chicks which we have placed within the nest and the adult owls have successfully fostered them. Like the seven dwarfs each one of the chicks each has its own unique personality and look. They are all ready to fledge any day. Watch them as they huddle together, twitching every now and then, some of them tumbling to sleep, others following insects as they buzz about the nest - isn’t it incredible how they twist their necks 180 degrees?
