Selection Logic — Lesson 6

In MAPDL, all model information including geometry, mesh, material properties, and other inputs are stored in a database. It’s designed such that one can access a sub-set of this data without altering other data. A common yet powerful application of APDL scripting is to create parametric models, allowing engineers to gain insight into the design. Selection logic allows you to develop such models while working with different entities. In this video lesson, let’s learn selection logic using APDL scripting in Mechanical APDL. This lesson is part of the Ansys Innovation Course: Intro to Ansys Mechanical APDL Scripting.
