In the opposing corner is the 32 year old Armando “Montsrou“ Castro, who has much more experience than Erik, as can be seen with his record of 47-13-3 (38 KO’s) and the fact that he’d had three World Super Fly title challenges some years prior to this fight. In his previous bout 5ish months prior, Castro went to Glasgow, Scotland, for a fight which saw him being stopped on his feet via TKO in the fourth round in what was a truly abysmal showing against future Featherweight champion ’Prince’ Naseem Hamed.
