Retro ads compilation (1)

Just to prove that this channel is all about nostalgia and is absolutely not targeting the kids of today, here’s a collection of retro British ads that’s aimed squarely at those who grew up in the 80s and 90s and won’t mean a thing to anyone else. It’s relatively random, apart from the fact that they all took my fancy one way or another, whether down to someone in (or narrating) them, or impressive animation, or being funny, or silly, or simply bringing back a memory. Listen out for the likes of Bill Oddie, Roy Kinnear, and Harry Enfield, while look out for Ted Rogers, Nigel Planer, and at least one Pink Windmill Kid. And is that Barry from The Smoking Room (. Jeremy Swift, Downton Abbey butler) at 12:36? Other things: (1) I’m pretty sure that Hovis one was being shown as a retro throwback even then, and is very similar to one that was broadcast recently.
