But one man who was also sent to the gallows was Julius Ludolf, who had been the Commandant of three different camps. He was the commander of Loibl, Grossraming and Melk concentration camps and he was known for having a brutal side in which he treated prisoners awfully. But he was executed inside of Landsberg Prison by an American executioner.
