The fifth album from this US trio. While it can bend quite often towards post textures it stays close enough to the atmospheric side of black metal yet it is not rare for the melody to calm down and present itself in a sparklingly clean and shiny melodic way. But we also have the thunderous drums and the enraging vocals that at any given moment can push back into earth, to chaotic grounds. The songwriting is quite remarkable where the guitar shines the most with all the unconventional riff transitions as well as the vocals ranging from cleaner signing to harsher growls filling the gaps of the melody and enhancing the atmosphere. A great record that will appeal to any atmospheric fan. Cassette.
