Create Cascading Florals by Layering Clay Elements: DIY Tutorial

I’m always looking for new ways to create depth and texture and incorporate it into a memory tile. In this piece I used rice paper decoupaged onto a wooden gallery blank and layered clay elements from the IOD Acanthus and Primitive Moulds. Lately I seem to be drawn to the look of rusty elements and this technique was just perfect for that look. Originally recorded live on my facebook page, this video has been edited with you in mind. I hope you enjoy it and are inspired to create your own memory tiles.
