Restoration Rusty Farming Beetroot Tool

Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. This old tool I found at flea market. For me it’s so interesting stuff and I decided to restore it. Due to this tool was rusted, I used little electrolysis process to avoid the rust and dirty. After I washed it via cold water and cleaning agent. Then via anglegrinder machine I removed patina and rest rust from surface. For socket, I made new iron piece for good fixation with wood handle. Then I went to nearest workshop due to I don’t have a welding machine and welded the socket. Then I cleaned it and used iron chloride to age a clean piece of metal. Handle for tool I made from ash tree. Also, I used two components paint and linseed oil. For that case I made interesting test for you. I hope you will enjoy this restoration video. Thank you!
