According to one think tank Brexit has just saved the UK an extra hefty $55 Bn. The Centre for Brexit Policy think tank has calculated that, had the UK still been a member of the EU or signed up to a Brexit extension of one or two years, then we would be on the hook for another £55 billion to cover our share of the EU €750 billion coronavirus recovery fund.
