Supplies needed: 2x Steel baking pans 3x Skinny steel rods Hollow steel tube Power drill with 2 sized bits [to match rod diameter and tube diameter] Metal grinding wheel(s) [to remove paint or non stick material and to cut the steel rods to length] Welder Instructions: Measure different cut lengths on your skinny steel rods [this will make the different notes] and cut with a grinder. Count the number of pieces you have and mark dots in a circle around the back side of one of the baking pan about an inch and a half in from the edge. In the center of the pan marked for the rods, trace a circle matching the diameter of your steel tube. Drill the holes with a bit the same diameter as your steel rods and pre-drill a small hole in the middle of the soon to be tube hole. Grab a large, metal-cutting, toothed, circle bit and drill out the center hole for the steel tube. Using a grinding wheel, grind the surface that will be welded [all drill holes and the edges of the pans] Place a steel rod into the first empty hole so it’s barely through to the other side of the pan and weld in place. Repeat this process for all of the small rods. Place steel tube into the big hole so it’s barely through the other side of the pan and weld in place. Put the two pans together like a sandwich [with the rods as the top piece] and weld the around the pans.
