Use 8cm equilateral triangles and 8cm strips. To obtain a slightly thinner structure and the background in greater evidence, you can use 8cm triangles and 5cm strips. Use light, dark and medium fabric for structures and a contrasting color for the background of the work. If you want to enlarge or reduce, a suggestion is to use strips in the same width as the sides chosen for the triangle. Have fun changing measurements and colors, but always watch the position of the colors. In the video example, the light colors are set to the top, the shadows to the right, the middle to the left and the background to a contrasting color, here red is used.
