Cajon lesson - Dance/Pop/Rumba Groove

Heidi Joubert Gives an introduction to the Rumba on the cajon and teaches the first basic rumba groove pattern on the cajon. this rhythms is used in many many styles, including cuban, latin and flamenco music. It is also categorized as Rumba Catalana or Flamenco Rumba. Well known bands that often use this pattern are gypsy kings, ojos de brujo, Fernando’s kitchen buena vista social club etc.
