VIDEO RELEASE: VICE Operation May 2023

Eleven men from across Virginia face charges in connection to a VICE operation which targets individuals who solicit minors for sex over the internet. On May 23 and 24, Henrico Police’s VICE Investigation Team worked with the Virginia State Police Human Trafficking Unit and FBI-Richmond to apprehend these offenders. Seven of the 11 arrested physically traveled to meet a minor in Henrico County but were instead met by law enforcement. These men face a variety of charges to include: • Solicitation of a minor for prostitution • Using a communications device to solicit a minor This is just one multi-agency operation Henrico Police has been a part of when it comes to these types of crimes.
