St John’s Wood, Golders Green, London. Ronald Lane specialises in floral decor with light effects . He is seen at work, designing something. M/S as he shows his work to Tom Wrigley, who is cutting petals from plastic. C/U shot of the machine cutting the sheets of acrylic sheet plastic. C/U shot of the clear plastic flower heads on a table, as a stamen is fixed to one by Augusta Andersen. Next she fixes them to stems and arranges them in a vase. Tom works with a soldering iron and fixes the base. He puts the stems inside where they are attached to a transformer . He is seen screwing tiny bulbs into the stems. C/U shot as they are lit up. Ronald works on a display, heating the ’leaves’ and bending them and fixing the display. C/U flowers alight in the dark, in yellow and red and green.
