Game Recap: Penguins vs. Bruins () | Crosby, Guentzel Each Earn 1G-2A

After a great victory in Boston the other night, the Penguins were looking to follow up that performance with another solid game. Mark Jankowski’s deflection of a Mike Matheson shot got the scoring started just 3:24 into the game, and the Penguins would take a 1-0 lead into the first intermission. A crazy, seven-goal 2nd period saw the Bruins strike first in the middle frame... twice. Jake Guentzel and Jared McCann, however, answered those Boston tallies quickly, regaining the lead for the Penguins. That would be the last time the Penguins would have a lead in the contest. Brad Marchand closed out the scoring in the final minutes of regulation, recording his 17th goal of the season and a hat trick.
