The Beatles - You Never Give Me Your Money - meticulous piano transcription/tutorial/lesson

#thebeatles #beatles #paulmccartney #pianotutorial #abbeyroad #piano #lesson One more Beatles transcription of this series, this time the opening piano ballad from the B-side medley of the 1969 Abbey Road album, You Never Give Me Your Money, written by Paul McCartney, and credited to Lennon/McCartney. I made my best to precisely figure out how Paul played it, meticulously close listening to the separate piano track from a multitrack audio file. It’s very interesting to realize how rhythmically sophisticated Paul’s playing is. I had to take my time and practice all the syncopations and polyrhythms, which demanded some hand independence, especially on the third chorus. The great bassist in Paul always shows! 0:04 - Regular speed performance 1:19 - Right-hand chord demonstration 3:05 - Chord demonstration with left-hand basses added 3:31 - Step-by-step demonstration of the transcription, sometimes looping one measure, sometimes two measures. 9:42 - slow-spee
