RAIN OF ARROWS

RAIN OF ARROWS The ultimate fast shooting from quiver... It’s not a new archery technique, but rather a method of intensifying the rate of fire when is needed. Practically, is the equivalent from the quiver of the Shower Shooting technique (which consists in holding more arrows in the drawing hand for increasing the rate of fire), but loading the arrows one by one. Going on the Tower track, one target face is always visible for shooting: in front, side or backwards. The best strategy in this case is to keep the same rhythm of shooting, while the upper body is following accordingly the target. It’s completely different to go fast along a track with more targets situated at 10-12m distance from it, in parallel position. I this case, the target’s face is visible for the  mounted archer just for a very short period. In about 2-2,5 seconds, (which means 5-7 strides in gallop), the horse is already passing the target, closing the shooting angle. The majority of the mounted archers will try to fire just one arro
