Guts vs Conan The Barbarian (Berserk vs Conan The Barbarian)

Two anti-heroes who are veterans of a lost order who have an animal motif (Dog/Wolf and Lion), and have both seen and fought their fair share of battle and taken on and defeated every monster and demon that’s come their way Both are pretty much normal members of their race (Guts is a normal human, and Conan is a normal Cimmerian), despite this however, they both can take down monsters and magic users way above their weight class Both aren’t exactly the “ideal hero” figure you’d expect and all (Conan being a barbarian though with a code of honor and Guts’ inner demon is called the Beast of Darkness, he wears all black and looks scary.) They were trained as warriors from a young age. They also lost their parent/parent figures (Guts’ original mother, Shisu and Gambino/Conan’s parents) which would be an important memory that would stay with them for a long time, revolving around their family and the horrors they have seen (Guts having to kill Gambino haunted him, up into his young adult years/Conan’s motivation for revenge revolves around his family) Both have grown as people over the years, moving past their more gritty and dark past, somewhat (Conan becoming close to a full-blown hero by the time he is king, Guts moving on from his berserker Black Swordsman-era self and opening up to more of his friends) Their sworn enemy is a magic user clad in black with an animal motif (Griffith - hawk/Thulsa Doom - snake). And most of Guts and Conan’s story revolved around them wandering through the dangerous lands seeking revenge on the villain for a massacre that happened earlier in their lives (Griffith sacrificing the Hawks/Thulsa Doom massacring Conan’s village) Both have an arch nemesis who follows an evil god and follows said god (Thoth-Amon being a high-ranking follower of Set and Griffith being a member of the Godhand who carries out the will of the Idea of Evil)
