We give a better, more detailed look at the life and reign of the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius, who was the last of the Five Good Emperors. We also examine the most important people in his life, his co-emperor Lucius Verus, his wife Faustina the Younger as well as his two sons, Annius and Commodus, with the latter contributing to the end of Pax Romana.
