Princess of Wales reveals she has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy

The Princess of Wales has issued a video message revealing she has cancer and is in the early stages of chemotherapy treatment. The princess said that although her abdominal surgery in January had been successful, subsequent tests revealed that cancer was present. ’As you can imagine, this has taken time,’ Catherine said in the video filmed on 20 March: ’But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK’.
