How to decode HF ACARS (HFDL) free with your SDR - Monitoring Aviation Communications Episode 8
This video demonstrates how to use a Software Defined Radio to decode HFDL signals on HF.
HFDL is used by airlines as another method of ACARS communication.
Decoding is possible using free software and an SDR that is capable of receiving the shortwave band. In this video, I was using an AirSpy HF Discovery as my software defined radio.
