PRE-ORDER WINTERSUN’S *NEW ALBUM* TIME II & TIME PACKAGE FROM HERE: “This is one of my very early demos (around 1995-96) when I started writing lyrics and recording vocals for my songs. “Waltz Of The Vampires“ might be the first song where I recorded my vocals. I started with growling because my clean singing was pretty horrible in the beginning, but it got better over the years with a lot of practice. “Waltz Of The Vampires“ also features these cool, arpeggiated dark, mystic, yet also melodic synth patterns. I was experimenting with darker chords and some chromatic notes. I remember getting these synth patterns recorded as a painful process. My family had this old synth, an “electric organ“ with just a few sounds. I loved one of the preset sounds on it. It was this kind of “harpsichord pluck“ made from a saw wave. I found th
