Boss OC-2 vs MXR Vintage Bass Octave M280

A really brief side-by-side comparison of the classic OC-2 (this is a black label Taiwan ’re all the same) and the MXR M280 Vintage Bass Octave. I run through wet mixed with dry (as matched as possible) on both pedals, the mid switch engaged on the MXR, then the wet only signals for that classic synthy octave sound on both pedals. Bass line is played on a Serek Midwestern shortscale (B90 pickup), tone ‘on’ 75%, strung with La Bella nickel roundwounds. Bass line looped via a TC Electronics Ditto.
