“Woven Variations“ by Austin Wintory, based on the original score by Austin Wintory from “Journey“ produced by thatgamecompany and released on Sony PlayStation3. This piece, in the form of a miniature cello concerto, takes the music from the game and builds it into a standalone concert work. Performed here by the Golden State Pops Orchestra on April 9th, 2011 in a sneak preview performance, conducted by Austin Wintory and featuring cello soloist Tina Guo (who is also featured in the game’s score).
