American in Donbass: Note #5. Filming Ukrainian strikes Independent US journalist Tofurious Maximus Crane came to Donbass to learn by himself what is really happening there. On his very first day in Donetsk, reporter found himself under shelling on a city street. He was surprised as there were no any military targets or soldiers - just a strike on civilian area. He was also confused by the calmness of the residents – for the past 9 years, shelling had become a terrifying routine for them. Tofurious also witnessed the destruction of residential areas, where Ukrainian soldiers sought refuge in the apartments of civilians.
