Testing Tomahawks Against Humanity’s Greatest Threat: SOG vs. CRKT vs. Cold Steel Tomahawks

The tomahawks used in this video ranked: 1st Place: Cold Steel Trench Hawk This was the best performing tomahawk. It was longer for more reach, but faster and lighter than the others and easier to swing with confidence. The handle has a nice swell and it absorbs the most impact out of all three. The only downside was the beard which got stuck in nearly every surface we hit. The Cold Steel was also the least expensive of the three. 2nd Place: CRKT Kangee This is probably the best utility item. It is heavier and less wieldy than it looks. The contoured handle provides a very sure grip, but the end of it bites into your pinky finger during hard, repeated strikes. 3rd Place: SOG Tomahawk The head of this tomahawk was much thicker and more durable than the others, but with a very thin handle.
