Yuri Soloviev and Natalia Makarova performing a pas de deux from ’Chopiniana’ (1964)

It’s a wonderful companion piece to my upload ‘Yuri Soloviev, Natalia Makarova - ’Zephyr et Flore’ (Evocation of a Pre-Romantic Era Ballet)’ of the same year (1964) which came from the Russian documentary ‘The History of Russian Ballet’. This footage is of course Yuri Soloviev and Natalia Makarova performing a pas de deux from ’Chopiniana’ (1964). I was prompted to upload my footage seeing the performances documentary, again, from which it comes posted by Ralph Sayers on a ballet site I belong to ’Les Balletomanes’. Particularly strange I’ve not posted it before as as I’ve had the footage for some time. I guess it’s a case of better late that never! Enjoy!
