U.K. based Sex Pissed Dolls began in 2014 as an idea to form an all female punk cover band by it’s founder and lead vocalist Caroline Beaumont aka Nancy Doll, along with the band’s manager. They set out to find the perfect musicians and admit to having a shaky start, with line up changes and fine tuning their sound, this left some critics to dismiss the band and write them off as a Svengali contrived idea rather then the true musicians they were, and even shorten the band name for a time to just “The Dolls“ for flack some gave them over their tongue in cheek name that referenced the Sex Pistols. The Sex Pissed Dolls solidified the line up when Belgium born drummer Anna Mylee, aka Anna Key was replaced by Kate Porter who also uses the stage name Anna Key, along with bassist Jill Bethwaite aka Jilly Idol, and guitarists Holly Henderson aka Kitty Vacant and Rosie Botterill aka Connie Rotter, would tour the U.K., Ireland and Scotland and gained and huge local following for their h
