Exploring an ABANDONED Gothic Asylum and Camping Overnight inside

Today, we will be visiting a Victorian Gothic Style asylum built in the late 1800s. This type of asylum is known as a Kirkbride, These types of asylums promote fresh air as well as natural light as key features in their rehabilitation process for the patients. The buildings were operational for over 100 years until it closed permanently in the 1970s. Leaving behind medical equipment, patient belongings, and so many more artifacts of the past, this abandoned hospital complex is like a living museum of medical history. As well as admiring the history of the property, we will be paying much detail to the amazing architecture put into this facility built over 200 years. All this while camping overnight and surviving the winter cold, as well as some coyotes that came close to our campsite. This video has it all.
