Slaughter and the Dogs - Where Have All The Bootboys Gone (Live in Blackpool, 1996)
After starting their career supporting Punk legends The Sex Pistols; gaining a prestigious recording deal with Decca records and being cited by many as being forefathers to the 1980s Oi! Movement, the band split in the early 80’s leaving behind a trail of classic Punk Rock tracks and a string of legendary rumours.
15 Years later, ready to celebrate Punk Rocks coming of age, Slaughter & The Dogs, became the most anticipated act of the 50 band strong Holidays in the Sun bill.
Could the band recapture their youthful raw energy or would the rumours be smashed into a thousand pieces?
In the same way The Pistols’ had blown away Finsbury Park two months previously, Slaughter & The Dogs blew Blackpool’s Winter Gardens into oblivion, leaving 3000 stunned punters in awe to what they had witnessed.
Watch that amazing performance in its entirety and see legend become reality. See Wayne Barratt interviewed and hear myth become fact!!
Recorded Live at The Winter Gardens, Blackpool, England. August 11th 1996.
