Twinkling Toes From “My Son John“ (1926)

Excerpts from the Shaftesbury Musical Play “My Son John“. “Billy Merson likes company when he twinkles his toes -“ reads the opening intertitle. Billy Merson does a comedy dance routine dressed in a kind of Turkish looking outfit - he wears a fez. He dances in front of a line of chorus girls, some of whom wear silky Chinese pyjamas, others wear very short shorts. They dance offstage. The pyjama clad girls do a high kick routine. Then the girls in shorts do the same. Annie Croft and Reginald Sharland perform a dainty waltz. Was item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 290. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
