Danish Viking Rule Over Norway?

Denmark ruled over Norway 3 times during the Viking age. Harald Bluetooth from 970-975, Swein Forkbeard from 1000-1014, and Knut the Great from 1028-1035. These were not an invasion that resulted in conquering. These times were Norway wanting to be under Danish rule because they had love and respect for the Danish kings and leadership.
