C4D Hard Surface + Sub D Modeling tips from Motionworks

John over at Motionworks was helping me over twitter on some basics (because I’m a noob at modeling) and thought it better to just live stream and show me. He took my crappy model with seriously bad cuts in the Geo and made corrections and made the cuts I was looking for. I forgot that my home computer wasn’t recording audio so I kept the chat up for my own questions so you at least get a sense of what’s going on.
