Bubbles and Bokeh Watercolor Tutorial | Kindred Soul Art
These are so fun to do! This tutorial video is a little closer to a process video since the steps aren’t as specific as other tutorials I’ve done, but I talk you through each step of how I create this 3-D, joyful, champagne-like bubble fest!
Supplies you need for watercolor Bubbles and Bokeh:
- Watercolor paint, paper, and brushes. For the brushes I recommend a rounder brush, a pointier brush, and a fan brush for texture.
- Bleedproof white or white gouache
- White gel pen
- Metallic watercolor, gouache, or face paint
- Round sponge (I recommend a finger dobber)
- Water
- Old towel to wipe excess paint/water
- Round circle stencil
- Painters tape (optional)
- Salt (optional)
